We had an amazing "silk" and imported fabric shop here for decades.  They had waist to ceiling shelves with the ends of boxes holding hand made buttons that were beautiful.  You could look and imagine hundreds of jackets and tops you could create!  They also had sewing classes for jackets that would be "their own style"!
