Re: Found An Unusual Hydrangea To Plant @ My Local Supermarket!!

Goldie76--Understand totally what you are saying. I used to buy plants, etc., by the trunkful and after I lost my husband I realized that he had been the gardener!

After several years of getting rid of overgrown bushes, the shed in the backyard and the pergola I finally am doing a little gardening by using containers. A couple of the young and stronger women in my church come over every spring and get it all planted and the mulch put down and keep me interested in having at least the front of the house looking good. I do so appreciate them. All change brings us opportunities for new friendships and new ways of doing things. (Not easy to learn--and I'm finding it was a lot easier at 69 than at 80.)
