Stella D'oro is a great daylily and it blooms with a lot of blooms initially and then sporadically over the summer provided you remove the spent flower before they create their seed pods. Otherwise it will just be that initial bloom and be done.

Lavender blooms from spring to about October/November. All that has to be done to them is deadheading in Fall after the blooms die, or in early Spring before the new growth begins. Of course, anything with flowers attracts lots of bees, so the mail person should wear asbestos gloves. Smiley Happy
