I hear you @september. It was a very difficult process for me too. Finally I decided to share to an institution that doesn't get a lot of money from the government and in turn to share with others who couldn't afford to buy books. I'm glad I did it.

I watched one vid, wasn't impressed by the BFF items recently on air, none of them went on my wish list. I've nothing in particular against either Tori or Jennie, just not my style. IMO, everything was a little too run of the mill and overpriced for knock off Regency decor.

My Fiesta skull and vine plate & cats luncheon plates (both hanging on my plate wall,) the jack o lantern pillow (20 in., cover washable, zips off) and the quilt set with actual embroidery were all from Zulily and totalled $89. A celebrity name attached, whether it be major or minor, does not make something cool or even remotely interesting.

This is just my opinion and is no judgement on how others decorate their abodes. My 3 best friends all have different styles from me and each other, and I'm always happy to visit in any of their homes. As the saying goes, you be you!

Linda's items were very nice. I still have some of hers. Not interested in the disposable acrylic port-a-bar. I have one of those from the 1960s, real brass and glass. I have revamped into black pain over the brass which was real and tarnished and laid thin marble over it. I like it. It doesn't collapse and fold away but the marble does etch. I could always buy glass and convert it back to its original state but I like the marble, even with the etching.
