OT: Paging Maddicat!! Dallas question!

My best friend throughout my childhood is in Dallas for 2 weeks and I am spending the weekend with her. My client recommended the North Park mall over the Galleria, and also the Arboretum. I'm wondering if it will be too hot to enjoy the Arboretum.

We are staying about a mile from the Galleria. As you know, I'm on a budget so I'm thinking North Park might be better. My friend is not a shopper to begin with. Do you think it will be too hot for the Arboretum?

Any other recommendations? I want to have several options for her to choose from.
