It seems like a lot of stores have gone to a "cost-savings" system of the UPS delivering packages to the post office, which then makes the delivery.

HA!

I have an order that was shipped to my home in southeast MI Thursday. Friday morning it was in Detroit, with the status "Package transferred to local post office". Saturday Morning it was at the post office in Columbus, OH, with the status "Package routed to wrong local post office. Package will be transferred to correct post office for delivery." Sunday morning, it is in Warrendale, PA with the status "Package processed by Post Office". Good thing these are Christmas gifts and the post office has nearly a month to get it right!

If this is the post office's way of trying to remain relevant, it is failing. Next time, I think I will pay the $3.50 upgrade fee to UPS, and have them deliver my package. It's not like they don't go down my street every day anyway.
