Was Princess Diana's 36th birthday, her last. She would have turned 57 today. I just read this article about her last birthday from Good Housekeeping.

She received 90 bouquets of flowers, Prince Harry got  some of his classmates to sing Happy Birthday to her over the phone. That evening she attended the 100th anniversary of the Tate Gallery in London. Looked stunning in this gown by Moroccan designer Jacques Azagury, he surprised her with it as a birthday gift.

Jacques Azagury also recreated dresses he made for Diana for Naomi Watts. I just watched that movie Friday night.

Truly, a regal, elegant lady (and she looks entirely at home with that billion dollar jewelry) who was a loving mother in spite of great challenges.  Thank you for sharing this lovely picture.

Her brother was there that night, it was the last time he ever saw her.
