Went this morning to the store in my town that is closing-now 60 to 80% off. Bought 6 items for 100.00 Also bought their wooden pant hangers at 1.00 each. All the tops I bought are for fall or cooler weather.

I was in a week or so ago, before this latest cut in prices. Prices were still way too high for me. Half the items in the store were other brands that had been brought in - like Delta Burke, etc.

I am not sure I'll be stopping by again.

A friend of mine works for them and told me that they had a brought in a specialist company to handle the closing sale inventory. This consolidation specialist also brings in clothing from other stores besides CC to sell in the CC stores.

down the road keep an eye out at Good Will stores... I think a lot of clothes that do not sell will end up there...

That is what the manager at my CC told me just before they closed the store. It is a company that specializes in bankruptcy. They probably have a bunch of Delta Burke things leftover from a previous bankruptcy. My goodness. How old do you think that clothing is? They can't be that good if they still have Delta's clothing.

Yes, that is what I was told when I was in the store. The resulting mishmash of junk products did not motivate me to buy. It was uncomfortable for me just being in the store.

Ross carries Delta Burke products & has for years. I wonder where they get them from? I've never seen them in stores other than discount ones.

My Ross does not carry DB. Then, again, my Ross is terrible. My kids refuse to go into the store because of the odor. I don't blame them. I rarely go there anymore. That odor scares me.

I have seen Valerie Bertinelli at Marshall's. Was this brand ever in another retail store? I do not remember seeing VB anywhere other than Marshall's.

My Cold Water Creek is in Seal Beach Cal. It's one of their Flagship stores, that's why they Are open. They told me. Noticed another label Called French Laundry. I haven't noticed Delta Burke.
