Think you're right, cocktail dress = kitten heels or strappy sandals of any heel height may be better.

I have some Clarks shoes very similar to TSV in caramel -- a bit darker than my skin color but nice & neutral and they go great with a casual summer dress, jeans or crops. So very versatile but not cocktail attire.

With that I'm going to step out for breakfast. It's overcast and cool here which is fine with me, soon enough it will reach 90s.
