It might take a bit longer, but the way I transfer phone pictures to my phone is to email then to myself, then download into pictures folder from the email. I just email the pictures I want to keep, not all of them. I do have a USB cord, but email just seems quicker to me. If I had a huge number of pictures to download I would use the USB cord.
