TRACFONE SMARTPHONE HELP NEEDED

I bought the Samsung Wi-Fi 2mp Camera phone. I finally figured out how to access email, but now it notifies me and subtracts minutes everytime I get an email. I can't figure out how to disable the email feature. Can anyone help? Thanks!
