External back-up device

Hi everyone, with my old desktop I used a Clickfree external backup device. It was so easy for me to use. I am techno challenged. Now, I have a new HP Envy touchsmart sleek book laptop. I would like to use another external backup device. Does anyone have any ideas of some good, easy ones that I could choose from? Or does my new laptop require another type? Thanks so much.
