My question is about the alpha head that is in the picture. I usually purchase the normal brush heads, but those have been sold out.

What Skin type is the alpha best for?

This is a different brush head than the others. 

I can't find a description for this brush head. 

Hopefully this makes sense.

Checking on the Clarisonic website, the alpha is for men....cleansing and shaving prep. Just google it to get to the Clarisonic website. And the replacement brush heads are available here for the alpha. Does that answer the questions?
