If the item goes out of stock, QVC will email you and tell you so. They will never just void the order unless something is not right with the order itself.

It happened to me in January and they didn't email me. I receive emails from them every day but nothing on that order. I happened to go in and check the status a couple days later and saw that it was canceled by them.
I know it wasn't a credit problem.
