Hi,

Related to the other post concerning thyroid issues. I have a goiter ( diagnosed 12 yrs ago) and take thyroid medicine, Levoxyl ( sorry, I am sure I am misspelling the darn medicine and I am too lazy to get up and check the spelling). I have had a bad and persistent cough for the last yr or so and it is getting worse. It is not a dry cough, but seems like I am choking from flem in my throat. Also it feels like I cannot swallow at times and it can get scary. I have an appointment for later this month with my GP. Last year he just said it was probably allergies. Strange thing I don't think I have allergies. I am concerned and wondered if any of you have had this occur. My goiter is quite large and noticable, but I don't think it is any larger then it was.
