[always wrong never right]

One of the best male high school teachers with whom I had ever had the pleasure to work came into my speech room this morning laughing hysterically. His best student handed him an envelope and shyly ran out of the room. After the exam, from which this girl had been exempt, he opened the card and a gift card for a Gentleman's club fell out. She thanked him in the note for being so nice to her and then said that the club was nice, she performed there and hoped he would come see her. She is an 18 year old 11th, well soon to be 12th grader. While I am glad he saw humor in it, I just felt so sad for the girl seeming proud of her job.
