it came, it went, we have no grands.

 

Anyway, think it's covered under Mom and Dad's Day. But that's me.

I'm sorry about your disappointment with your family for them not acknowledging you on Grandparents Day.  @Goodie2shoes 

 

I'm sure you feel better that you brought it to their attention so they will know from now on that you want to be acknowledged.

 

Our grandchildren have a grandparents day at their schools (different states) and we've always attended.  It's not in Sept, but usually closer to the Thanksgiving/Christmas holidays.  Luckily it's never fallen on the same day or we'd have to split ourselves in half.

 

Personally, I don't think it's a big deal.  I've never acknowledged it with my grandparents, they knew day to day that we loved them and that's how I feel about it with my grandchildren.  My parents aren't aware of it either.  I guess the president didn't shout it loud enough!?  lol
