Initially, I meant this question for people who buy on Ebay but then thought I would like a regular seller's opinion. I am mostly a buyer but a few years ago I sold quite a number of items.
I recently bought a David Yurman bracelet as a gift for a 21st birthday. All the sellers I looked at had lot of feedback in the 99%/100% positive. However several of these sellers had a "no return" policy. Given the fact that I was paying over $400 I would never buy from a seller with a zero return policy so I excluded them. The seiler I ended up buying from had a "3 day" return policy.
When I was selling I guess I did have a zero return policy but my items never went for much over $100 and if I did have a unhappy buyer (once), I accepted the return and refunded the $$ quickly
Would you buy an expensive item from a "no return" seller? If youi are a "no return" seller do you think that it hurts your business?
