I know Prince Wm. is well compensated by his lifestyle and wealth at taxpayer expense.  However, I think this criticism he is receiving is much ado about nothing.   Being a prince is a 24/7 job.  I don't mind him getting away from the pressure of raising a young family and both his jobs (princely duties and air ambulance driver) to have a weekend skiing with the guys and missing an official duty, where the royals were well represented by the others in the family.  He'll be plenty tied up with royal duties when he is king.

@Pearleei agree the guy needs a break from that stuffy palace life....bet his wife could use a regular one too.i believe life at the palace will modernize once grandma is no longer on the throne and there will be a few less formalities.

Geesh -- leave the guy alone.  That being said, I think the whole "Royalty" thing should be abolished.
