Prayer request for Schmoo's Vet

Many of you familiar with not only Schmoo's current health predicament but his past scares know that his vet--the owner/founder of his own practice--has been with us every step of the way, from recommending the right specialist at the right time to tweaking diets and meds left and right to employing holistic therapies other vets scoff at.

We learned from him tonight when he called to arrange a house call for Schmoo this weekend to do bloodwork that he may have a life-threatening illness (he was to come and do bloodwork earlier and we hadn't heard from him). It may be benign but his doctors are concerned, and so is he.

Please if you have can, say a prayer for this wonderful man: a true healer and a good friend to our family and our furbabies.
