In July of 2008, my 39 year old son was diagnosed with Testicle cancer. I've posted about it a few times so some of you may remember. He immediately had surgery to remove the testicle and then had 8 weeks of chemo. Then on Dec 11 that year he had a surgery called RPLND. It was a very difficult surgery, about 5 hours and and was done to remove lymph nodes that remained after the chemo. Today he is doing great and goes for tests and check ups every 6 months. After 5 years he will go once a year. If you have a young man in your life please tell then to be aware of any changes or pain in that area and get checked immediately. Testicle cancer is very curable but it's best to catch it early. Thanks to everyone who prayed for my son and kept him in their thoughts.
