I used to live in Chicago

I was born there, raised there, graduated from high school there, learned to be a nurse there, and lived in both sides of the city for half my life.


Now, not only don't I recognize it, I don't want to go near it. It routinely makes national news these days.


It is really sad what has been allowed to happen there - yes, it has been allowed to happen.
