My parents are both in their 80's. They are on Medicare and have a supplemental insurance with blue Cross. They also have prescription insurance thru Humana. They are both in what they call the Gap which is where they have to pay the next $4,750.00 for their prescriptions. They are both on a good deal of medicine, heart, blood pressure, althezeimers and others. They are on a fixed income. There is no way for them to come up with this kind of money to have their prescriptions. Does anyone have any answers. Once they come out of pocket with the $4,750.00 Humana will begin to pay for prescriptions again but we may ot make it until then. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
