Governor wants to stop regulation of business

The new governor of Florida (who pled guilty to medicare fraud and paid a multi- million dollar fine) wants to stop the regulation of businesses in our state so more companies will come here and create jobs. Well that would happen but what about the products that would be produced - noone watching out for the quality of the product and what about workers having to work in factories with no controls to protect their safety? Do you think this is a good idea? For instance - no one would regulate the beauty salon industry and the products used on your hair or the qualifications of the technicians. I find this idea scary.
