End of a shopping era?

This evening, I was shocked to check my QVC order status page, and realize that for the first time in many, many years, I have barely purchased anything from QVC for the holiday season. I used to love to watch QVC and get great gifts for family & friends during the Christmas season (in fact, people would often joke about where I got most of their gifts), but I'm guessing that with the economy being such a challenge these days, QVC has had to greatly pare down their inventory, and there just isn't that much to choose from now-a-days. There is only so much Philosophy/LG/Clarks/Doonie/B.Mack/Isaac items I need or can use as gifts. I miss the days when there was more variety to choose from. I wonder if we'll ever see those days of a huge inventory on QVC again, or if those days are forever gone?
