Do you sleep with a fan on or some other kind of "white" noise?

I get used to the sound of my fan on most every night during the summer months. It's cooling down now, and soon my bedroom will be very chilly. I haven't been using my fan much because of the cooler weather, but I miss the sound of it, so the other day I went to Walmart and bought myself a sound machine. So far I'm really liking it.

Do you sleep better with "white" noise of some kind?

I sleep with the fan on every day of the year, I just don't point it towards me in the winter.

We have slept with a box fan on for years. Not pointing at us, just for noise

@Sue98 Yes! We have two fans on each side of the bed....in the summer because it is hot, and in the winter mostly for the white noise. I could not sleep without the fans blowing on me and humming.

..winter, spring, summer or fall, along with central AC, I have my fan on..nor for the noise but because I need a breeze.

I could not imagine going to sleep without my ceiling fan on, my Dyson fan blowing towards our bed on low & the temp turned down to 69 degrees. That is white noise on steroids...!
