Absolutely remember it.  Great fun song.  (Now I'll have it in my head all day long.)

I do remember it!  I was a little, little kid, but a song like that burrows into your memory bank forever.

I also remember that "meatball" song. Sort of in the same vein. Maybe it was the same singer.

"On top of spaghetti,

all covered with cheese...

I lost my poor meatballl,

when somebody sneezed.

Now, ask me what 9 x 9 is. I couldn't tell you.

I was traumatized by that song, this verse

It rolled off the table,
And on to the floor,
And then my poor meatball,
Rolled out of the door.

Being a southern girl the thoughts of this and the possible reality of it actually happening was so unacceptable. I never would have anything to do with meatballs.  When I was a teen I went with a friend to our favorite pizza place. She ordered a meatball sandwich and tried to get me to order one...Nope, no no no!!!!!!Woman Embarassed never!!!!

Oh gosh.  What a memory!

I think we all sung that together, from memory!

And laughed together each time!

Thanks for this "throw back!"

(EDITED to remove my reference to "Laughing Song" here.

Insensitive of me to have mentioned another song on this thread..  Apologize)

Remember Allen Sherman singing that song?
