Word order is irrelevant in Latin. Because verbs and nouns decline and inflect, there doesn't need to be a word order to determine sense. Amor vincit omnia = omnia vincit amor (love conquers everything).
That's interesting Clover. The only Latin I know other than stuff like carpe diem is from the Jackie Kennedy Castellani bracelet I bought in a moment of weakness when they retired the collection: Non relinquam/Non relinques (I will never give up on you/You will never give up on me.)
