@Desertdi.  We're supposed to have 6° tonight, then a warming trend.  We'll get out of 30s this time next week.

 

I had more snow than I thought.  I walked out to the mailbox and got snow in my shoes.  It hasn't melted either, as it usually does.  It's fluffy and pretty.  Residential streets are a mess, snow packed and icy.

 

The Ruidoso ski area, Ski Apache, got 36" which will make many Texans very happy.  They might as well annex the place, there are so many of them.

As a native NY'er and now a Florida snowbird, who hates to be cold and lived through the Blizard of '77, I hope never to see another flake of snow or bone chilling cold ever again. I LOVE Florida! And btw, last summer in our area of NY was hotter than our Florida home. Go figure.
