I LOVE spinach!!!!!!

I like to have it as my "base" in salads instead of lettuce.

Perhaps you never go out to eat???  Recalls happen also to food shipped to restaurants.

This is not true.  Many "humans" handle fresh produce by picking it up to check it out......smell, squeeze, cough, sneeze, etc. all over "fresh" produce.  Reason why you should wash/rinse same when you get it home.

Just yesterday I watched a woman picking up one peach at a time, putting her nose ON the peach, and taking a big sniff.  Then she would put it back and pick up the next peach to sniff it.  And on and on.  I was so grossed out!  I had just picked up peaches from that same bin not five minutes earlier.  I always wash fresh fruit and veggies thoroughly, but it's always upsetting to realize how nasty people can be.
