I am watching and hoping she has it in the next 2 hours! After that I have people coming to give an estimate on some work and I may miss it!

Wow thank you for the heads up, I just got home and checked on her and thought maybe something is up as they have her closed in the small stall.
I bet she is so ready!
eta~ I see the door to the adjoining stall is open to her. I thought gosh she needs some room to pace.
Now the shut the doors again!

I do believe its time, looks like baby is coming!
eta~ geez if they want to share this birth with the world, they need to man the cam better.

Wow she is sure pacing quickly in her pin.

I am surprised she is not quarantined alone to give birth?

Well, I am back and still watching. I can see she is closer to giving birth by the way she was looking and biting at her sides and trying to stretch. Do giraffes chew a cud like cows? She is chewing a lot and sometimes on the pipes or the walls. I wonder how long they are in labor in the wild and if they are protected in any way by the other giraffes and if they typically give birth at night? Guess I need to get on google
ETA The other giraffe (male, I assume) isn't chewing like she is. Maybe it is a pain control thing? Every once in a while she stops and her ears go back and I wonder if that is when she is having a contraction.
ETA Again: I guess not always - I saw her cud go down and up her neck.

Yes they chew their cud, when she stops chewing, watch her neck and you can see the cud go down and another come up.
I would think they would have some straw down for the baby. That is a long drop on hard cement.
