Visited a NYX store in Las Vegas

I visited a brand new NYX store in Las Vegas this past week. It's at the Miracle Mile mall very close to the Sephora store and the entrance to the Planet Hollywood casino. The store has only been open for a couple of weeks. They are very well stocked with their makeup and I bought a makeup primer, the liquid drops foundation, an HD concealer and a butter lipstick there. I haven't seen the hydra primer in other stores or the shade of butter lipstick (31) in other stores either. The store is reasonably priced, well stocked, and has lots of testers. I ended up spending about $55 dollars there and didn't spend anything at Sephora this visit. It's worth a look see if you are staying on the strip.

Just ordered 2 eyeshadow pallettes from their website - lovely colors in both. Impressed with this brand and their prices. Their website has free shipping after $25 too!

They are indeed well stocked, and carries the newest releases with lots of testers out, but unfortunately, they do not have buy one, get one half off sales like at drugstores or Ulta.

I did have a good time browsing the NYX store. I do like the Hydra Primer that I bought (in the blue tube) and the HD concealer wand in shade 02. I think it's comparable to the Sephora concealer that I have. The jury is out on the liquid drops foundation as I need to get a beauty blender sponge to apply this correctly. The shade may also be a bit light on me. I like the butter lipstick in shade 31 - it's an orchid pink shade. I do like the 3 in one brow crayon, powder, liquid brow stuff but I don't really like the liquid brow stuff very much as it leaves my brows crunchy feeling. I do like the brow pencil and powder applicator part though. I bought the black shade which is really a charcoal shade.
