Question for Someone Who Does Own Gel Nail Manicure

I have both a UV and L.E.D. light so I can use either. If you've been successful doing your own gel manicures, I need your advice. Would you please post the steps and the curing time you use as I've been having a little problem with lifting and I'm not sure where I'm going wrong. Also, is there a brand of polish that's your favorite?
