Do they make colored extensions that you could add to see how it looks?

I'd love to do it, but would hesitate to do it on my own, fragile hair.  Asked my stylist about it and she discouraged me as my hair is medium brown.

I love the idea of some pastel color or rose gold in my hair. 

There must be something beyond permanent color.

My 80 year old SIL has short white hair.  She does a different color just on a few strands of her bangs.  But then she's a fun person, nothing stodgy about her.

Life is too short to spend it being uptight because you're of a certain age. 

I'm in my mid 70's and looking for a new hairstyle.  When I decide I'll be looking to add some color strands to my mixed grey hair.

omg---more nonsense about hair color!!~??? It is only hair---it can be colored over. I think it would be fun to do whatever you want to do with your hair. If ya got it, flaunt it!!! I've seen some BEAUTIFUL pastel colors on peoples heads. I've seen a few horrible things too, but what the heck. I get a touch of a "different" color when I have my hair foiled. Maybe not a screaming purple or green, but my hair girl adds a streak or 2 of something unexpected that she doesn't tell me about. I find it at home and think it is so fun.

 Not my thing but one of the teachers I supervise is 31, blond and has different colored fun-lights done every month!  She looks adorable.  I like my auburn, hi/low blond lights on me.  Have fun and do what you wish!
