New growth

I have been using Wen since May of 2012. I used to highlight my hair, but stopped since using Wen. I have noticed that my new Wen growth is much shinier than the old hair on the bottom. I'm sure it is because of the Wen, but I thought maybe it could be the highlights causing my hair to be less shiny on the ends. Has anyone else noticed your new Wen hair looks better than the older hair on the ends? I can't wait until I get all of my old hair trimmed off, so I can have a full head of Wen hair.
