Nail polish color

I am not a fan of the new trends in nail polish color.

I think the colors are pretty - but not on finger nails. I will stick to the more traditional colors. However, they are popular now.

I have a question though.

Maureen, from Tarte, wore a red dress that had an orange hue with a blue-green nail polish. When her hand and dress color came together, I thought it looked awful.

My question is, do you consider the colors you wear when choosing blues, greens, purples, yellows, etc. for nails?
