Is there a nail polish that doesn't pull out the moisture from the nails?

I kept polish on my nails for my three week Florida vacation. During that time I used oil religiously. When I came home and went back to no polish, I had the same problems I always do with prolonged polish wear, peeling dry nails. I know the TIPS lady says oil works through the polish but I don't believe it. Does anyone know of a polish that doesn't dry out your nails?
