Blow drying hair advice please!

I have very long hair that I wear in a ponytail. I avoid heat product but recently I been wanting a straighter look but do not want to use flat irons so I bought an ionic hair dryer with a comb attachment for the straighter look. Well I noticed blow drying seems to bring out the split ends and makes my hair feel stiff and frizzy too. Is there any good styling product that will allow me to blow dry my hair and eliminate the stiffness and friz? Today I used wen oil mixed with a leave in conditioner and it seemed to eliminate the split ends but not the friz/stiffness. Should I be using a flat iron heat spray even tho i am only using a blow dryer?

I thought about putting more argan oil products in my hair?
