Anyone with SD (sebhorric dermatitis) on their scalp color their hair??

I'm almost 50 and for the last 1-1/2 years my hair has been greying. It is now about 50% grey. I receive compliments about how pretty my hair is but I hate the way it looks. I'd really like to color it but I have SD and use a medicated shampoo a few times a week to help control it. So, anyone have any suggestions? I'll also add that I have short multi-layered hair that I get trimmed very 5 weeks. It used to be black and shiny. Thanks so much!
