I really like LG spackle in ethereal (glowy) in the winter and bronze for the summer. i give it a minute to set and then i can use liquid or powder foundation over it. If I have used a heavy sunscreen or moisturizer ahead of it (I have dry skin), the spackle helps that set too and actually shortens the time i have to wait before applying foundation. i also like that it has a very cool and soothing feeling upon application.

This is, hands down, the best (and only) primer I will use on my face, when necessary.  Unfortunately it is very expensive but so, so worth it in my opinion.

For me it is either Smashbox or Mally. I have also learned that it is really about how much you use in a application, a little goes a long way.

I have also used the NYX primer, but the tube is so small so it doesn't last very long, I decided that it wasn't a very good value even though quite inexpensive.
