He is so sweet. There are so many of them dead on the highway-guess they are dumb. I have a friend who stops and turns them over and takes the babies to be rescued-she said they are usually there. How sad.

  It's another freezing day.  Brrrr!  Have a few errands to do after chipping away at more ice on the sidewalk.  Not very much left, thank goodness.

@Judaline This looks what a neighbor I visited does for the squirrel rescue.  Her entire livingroom had several cages with different ages of squirrels from infants to adults ready to be released.  So amazing the dedication, love and work it takes.

My BF had a momma opossum and her babies nesting in his window well.  He was horrified.  Called the animal rescue and a guy took them to his place and raised them in a caged area in his back yard.  Sweet story.
