Any suggestions? Just received my first Wen oils......

I just received my oil in LAV. It was delivered on Sun, weird. I've never used them and want to try it tonight. I cleansed today but can cleanse again tomorrow. I still have the last visit from Chaz on my DVR so I can see him use it but want to hear from you all if there is anything else I should do or know. Also if there is any other uses for them. Any help is really appreciated. TIA!

That's good you have the demo to watch, follow Chaz. You can also use the oils after you shower , use it on wet skin amd rub it in you don't need much. I just run the dropper along my arms and legs and rub it in wait a few minutes for it to absorb while I'm doing something else . I dab my towel over my body, never rub. You can also use the oils on your cuticles, dry skin, like elbows and knees. I use it in foot soaks with Epsom salts (1 dropper full). I use TT for the foot soaks and I also use it on my face. You can use a few drops on dry hair to protect and soften it. It can be added to moisturizer too. I'm sure you'll find many uses for it.

When I use the oils, I use them on dry hair. I put them on in the evening before bed. I usually use 4 full droppers on my scalp. I just run the dropper along my scalp while slowly dispensing the oil. I massage the oils into my scalp with my fingers. I also like to put a half dropper on the midshaft and ends for extra moisture. I put a towel over my pillow. I never get oil on the towel, but I feel it keeps my pillow case cleaner. I do know that the lavender is one of the stronger scented oils. You may want to sleep in a turbie if the scent is too strong for you. The oils cleanse out really well. You may want to do a double cleanse to make sure you cleanse all the oil out. I like to add 2-3 drops to to the midshaft and ends of finished styled hair for extra shine, smoothing, and scent. I love the oils! I hope you like them. Let us know how it goes. Smiley Happy

I use the oils to take my make up off, wash with 613 cc, then put the oil back on as moisturizer for my face. I do an oil scalp treatment before I color my hair - leaving the oil in. Add oil to your color mixture to make it less damaging to your hair. I add a drop or 2 to the sc before I put it in wet hair after cleansing, especially when my hair is really dry. Use it on dry hair to tame static electricity.

Thanks ladies!! I'm excited to add these into my routine. I'm gonna watch Chaz real quick then put it on. I like the idea of using them on my skin as well. I have had dry skin my whole life and am happy with the BCC and BL but can still use more moisture. I always do a double cleanse and will try a few drops on my ends, I always battle static. And Okiebug, how do you take off make up with them? Sounds interesting.

I always add a few drops to my SC and a few more to dry hair to tame any fly aways, scrunch moisture into my curls. I love oils on my face at night. I use the oils to treat my scalp and ends pre-cleanse. And I use it straight when my body and hands need extra moisture in addition to the BL.

I have a few of the oils and LOVE them. I add them-just a drop-to my wet hair before drying. My fave way, though, is to add a few drops to an unscented moisturizer. I love adding it to Kiehls Creme de Corps.Smiley Happy

I use about 3 drops all over a dry face, including my eyes. The oil dissolves even waterproof makeup. Then I put on a pump of 613 on my face, add warm water, work everything into a froth and rinse off with a microfiber cloth. Gets every bit of make up off, doesn't dry out my skin and since I've been doing that and following with 2 drops of oil as moisturizer, my t-zone has normalized. I use either tea tree or pom oil, whichever one I reach first. I moisturize with pom.

Love this idea!! I recently bought philosophy cleanser at Ulta, and I like it but it doesn't take my eye makeup off. And my skin is so dry, so I think this will be great! Didn't do the oil treatment last night. Was talking to my mom and she suggested that because I have lots of allergies maybe I should do a patch test first. I tested on my inner arm last night and all is well. Can't wait to get started!
