Beware! I recently just had my credit card information stolen off my QVC account. The person sent themselves a brand new Ipad! As soon as I saw a charge for almost $700 from my bank I logged into QVC. I canceled the order and then called QVC customer service to let them know and they said it would be taken care of. This was 5 hrs after this thief had placed the order through QVC. I then had to cancel my credit card with my bank. Well I called QVC later in the night to see what the status of the order was and was informed that the Ipad was shipped out to. I explained the situation to the VERY rude customer service rep who then told me to ship the Ipad back when I received it. WHAT?! Hello? I then told her that wasn't going to happen bc I dont know this person they shipped it to. I have been a customer with QVC but since they obviously can not sure my personal information and have no real concern about credit card fraud then I will not be shopping with them any longer.

That's a frightening story. And to have to encounter a rude customer service rep on top of that. I understand your decision to quit.

Oh, dear. This sounds very much like 2 other reports by posters a month ago. I don't think you're alone in being targeted by these criminals. eduke, Please take a look at this thread in the Electronics Talk forum to see the details of the other cases:

Bet it shipped to someone in Florida? That's where my fraudulent order was to ship to as well as another lady here on the forum.

Your experience with CS on this mirrors mine as well. Very rude and dismissive. I printed out the order screen and took it to my local police dept an filed a credit card fraud report. I suggest you do that as well.

I no longer keep a credit card on file here and cancelled my QVC credit card because it is automatically linked to your account.

If you cancelled the card and alerted your bank about the fraudulent charge before the iPad shipped, the charge wouldn't have been authorized and the order wouldn't have gone through. In your Order Status, on every order there's a shipping address. Where was the iPad shipped?

Hi, Buck-i-Nana! I'm glad you saw this. Yours and QVCrocks' experiences were the ones I thought of when I posted on this thread. What a shame to see this scam continuing.

You have NO way of knowing that it was the Q'S fault that your info was stolen and secondly, WOW, that is the fastest turnover of an order EVER and third, did you call the bank and have a fraud alert put on your card? Finally, did you get the shipping address of where it was going and alert the POST OFFICE associated with that address to NOT deliver the package? I agree, something is not adding up here. IT IS THAT TIME OF YEAR.

AND,skeptic in me, again, but, notice the poster just joined, has this story of woe and 1 post, no updates, etc.

Kind of like a post in Q Did What.

Maybe I'm wrong, but, just like the dozens of one post wonders, that hit after Christmas with tales of ruined Christmas, because they didn't get their orders; I'm very suspicious.

Maybe I should work on that {#emotions_dlg.lol}

I think the only person who can RUIN your Christmas in regards to gifts is YOU< Order with enough time to get the package. QVC, AMAZON or anyone else CAN NOT guarantee what the weather will be like. Order ahead of time, be prepared. (Sad to think that 1 gift not geting there is going to RUIN your holiday, AND who would ever think to order for a child at the last minute?)
