Does slinky brand really have to be hand washed, or can it be washed delicate cycle in machine?

It can be washed on delicate. Many years ago I had a pair of their pants.

I have a pair of slinky pants and I just wash them in with my other dark clothes and throw them into the dryer too.

I would absolutely not throw this in the dryer or anything from this line. Drying is what breaks down the spandex.

I machine wash this fabric but never put it into the dryer except by mistake and it came out fine. If I have the time to line dry I do but in a pinch throw it into the dryer.
