The programming won't let you have yangya, but you can have Yangya.

You can have any other spelling, or write YANGYA in all caps.

I was trying to give you a hint by writing yangya many different ways in my posts upthread. 

YangYa, or anything you like except the old yangya.

Once you decide on your new name...

Here's how to change your name in the forums.

Click on MY ACCOUNT on the banner near the top of the screen.

It's above left of your name & notifications.

Click on Account Settings.

You'll see your nickname, and an Edit button to the right of it.

Hit the Edit button and type in your new name.

   Save it.

   Important:

Now completely log out of your account.

Next time you log back in again it should show your new name.

Let me know if you can't find the little email boxes in the Communication Preferences

on your HSN account.

Hi, Hedge.  I can't change my nic but the hsn thing worked like a charm!

I followed all the steps for the nic but it didn't work.  I'm gonna try another browser.

Tried another browser and it wouldn't let me in.  LOL!  Oh well....

Yangya, where's the problem?

Do you find the place where you put in the new nickname and save it?

You have to sign out after that.

Make sure you're signed out of your QVC shopping account and out of the forums.

     Their programs are slow, so give it a minute.

When you sign back into the forum you should see the new name above your avatar.

What step isn't working?

No, it's not saying already taken. I follow all the steps but when I go to sign in it just puts back that other name.  I'm gonna try again.

All the steps work fine, I just can't figure out what's wrong.

Okay, I got this far.  I think it does not like ALL caps.  It seems to like this one.  It will not do the all caps one though.

That's okay.

Anyway, your directions are really clear and I did it with no problem but again, it won't accept all caps.
