I did not think so either but I looked it up, and he was traded to the chiefs after he injured his elbow, which is when they brought in Steve Young, It looks as if he was with them for a season, before retiring.

I was so sad when Joe couldn't play anymore after 2 seasons, he was fun to watch and we should have won the SB. Steve Young was okay. Joe was such a nice guy when I met him. Reminds me of Mahomes.

I respect the Chiefs ,but siding with the 49ers for the win. Hoping for a good game and the refs getting the calls right. There have been so many "mis calls" and" bad calls" this season. Maybe time for the NFL to hire full time refs..
