Great Movie for Dog Lovers

I accidently ran across this riveting movie on Netflix last night and thoroughly enjoyed it.

 

The movie name is Megan Levy and it's a true story about a young woman adrift who joins the Marine Corps and becomes the handler of a hard-to-handle beautiful German Shepherd.  They are deployed to Iraq and become heroes.

 

Megan eventually gets out of the Marine Corp, with huge effort, gets to adopt the then-retired dog which lives out his life with her.

Our all-time favorite dog movie is "The Art of Racing in the Rain"....

Rescued By Ruby.  On Netflix.  Based on true story.  Heartwarming and not sad. Really good movie.
