My dad's favorite cake of all time.  My mom made it twice a year - his birthday and Father's Day.  He didn't share either!

Oh, I need to make one, haven't in years!  My mom made it maybe every other month.  We loved it as kids, and wanted a whole pineapple ring!  I guess poor mom ate the pieces that were halves.   @homedecor1   Looks delish!

@homedecor1    Shame if that Temptations pan cracked. Have you had any trouble with this brand?  Reviews are full of diasasters while using the baking dishes.

My dad and I were never big fans of pineapple upside down cake, until I made one and used canned peach halves in the bottom!  With all that brown sugar and butter?

We went nuts over it!

I have never had any breakage with the Temptations I own NOR did I say it cracked🤷‍♀️

I started collecting when first introduced when the quality was excellent.  I will admit I've had some craze years ago.

I don't bake in them a lot but do use them to serve food.
