I'm looking for a straw bag (crossbody) for summer. I'd like to switch out of my black bag for several months.

Anyone seeing some cute ones?

Re: STRAW BAG FOR SUMMER

[ Edited ]

@Shanus   I love straw bags, they're so 1940s-1950s I think. They were the cat's meow back in my day. I had one in high school that I really loved.

Fast forward many many years later, I found a very similar one in a second hand store, still have it too but I don't use it and I have no idea why!!!

I hope you can find a great one for the Summer.

Brighton has some cute crossbody organizer straw bags but they are a bit pricey.

The nicer ones are pricey, but try Amazon.  They tend to be large -

most are referred to as beach bags, but you may find something.

There are many straw crossbody bags on Amazon.  Just use those words in your search.

Hi@Shanus,

Try Macy's in the search bar. I was in the store yesterday and they had quite a few, I was surprised.

Agree with Brighton. Pricey but will last forever.

@Shanus  I bought 2 really cute straw bags at the end of last summer from target.  They seemed to be well made, if you are interested in a less expensive type of bag.

Patricia Nash has some. I don't care for them, myself.

She also has some crochet ones . I got the dark pink

crochet.

For a crossbody straw might not be a good option.  It can catch on clothing.  Raffia is somewhat better.  Maybe a tote?
