I only carry what I need for my destination - which is usually my keys and card case.

I only take my phone if I'm going to a meeting (etc.) and need to consult my calendar.

I only carry a handbag if I need more than cards/keys.

I've been using the same style wallet, well, forever! Can't teach an old dog new tricks and I cannot deviate from this style. Below is just an example from Patricia Nash. Has to have a kiss lock part for coins and the section for bills has to have a divider.

My favorite "wallet" is a Vera Bradley Deluxe Zip ID case. It's lightweight, slim, and holds what I need. It has two RFID slots for cards I use most often, a separate flap for driver's license, and a zip compartment with a divider for the rest of my cards, folded cash and coins.

I used to carry Baggallini crossbodies all the time but never used the built-in wallets. Too much trouble to load and unload them every time I wanted to switch purses.

Card case for me.  Now that I'm retired, I only leave home for grocery runs or medical appts.  I do not need to carry more than my drivers license, insurance cards, credit card and my phone.  I get by with a wristlet or my small Brahmin bags.

I use a wallet this size and very similar,  with a kiss-lock top into which I can easily drop or access coins with one hand.  Doesn't take up nearly as much room as a big wallet.

My very favorite wallet is a full size Coach wallet that also holds a checkbook. I've had it for about 14 years now and it's still going strong. I do have a compact wallet for my smaller purses but I always like to go back to my Coach.

oh my goodness yes the medical appts. Seems like I have one or two a week. I'm falling apart piece by piece 😆  and there's a test or a specialist for every piece and part

A few of my small crossbody's have a built in wallet.

I was a bag addict for many years.  Most of my bags have matching wallets.  I have all sizes and types of wallets because they were purchased to fit in the bags I bought.

I prefer a light weight wallet.  A few of mine are pretty heavy when loaded.  I also need a coin section....I hate to have coins rolling around in my bag.

Well...

when i carry my fully size purse, i have my full size wallet (Vera B 'lighten up")  which is at least 5 days a week.  i can stop anywhere, so i need the rewards cards etc... so full size wallet is needed.

if running to specific stores, then a crossbody with a card case is all i need.  bought a Rebecca Minkoff years ago at Nordstrom Rack and its with me all the time, no matte what bag i am using.... it contains:  d.l., c.c.'s insurance cards, costco & bj's cards.  i also carrry a V.B zip case, these are just great, so well made

i do not use the built in wallets on handbags.  i switch too often and its an inconvenience for me....
